PATCH 1 FOR TOOLBOOK 10.5

WHO CAN INSTALL THIS UPDATE?

The Update can be used on an installation of ToolBook 10.5 (including Perpetual, Subscription and Trial versions)

 

WHAT DOES THIS UPDATE DO?

This update adds BlackBerry support to the Publish to Web (DHTML) process

• The Quick Start tab of the Startup Dialog now offers a BlackBerry Content option
• The Web Export wizard now offers a BlackBerry 6.0 and later option

 

HOW TO INSTALL UPDATE 1 FOR TOOLBOOK 10.5

The installer for this update can be found at the following location:

 

The downloaded file is a ZIP file containing the following two files:

• TB105Update1.exe
• readme.txt

 

After you download the Update to your hard drive, unzip the file and double-click on TB105Update1.exe to start the installation process. The Updater will only update an existing installation of ToolBook 10.5.

 

HOW TO UNINSTALL THE UPDATE?

It is not possible to remove the update, once installed. The only remedy in this situation is to uninstall ToolBook 10.5 and reinstall ToolBook 10.5.

 

HOW TO TELL IF THE UPDATE IS ALREADY INSTALLED

The easiest way to determine if the Update is already installed is to look at the About ToolBook entry in the Help menu within ToolBook. The build number located in the upper right corner of the About dialog will reveal this:

• 10.50.169 = ToolBook 10.5
• 10.50.172 = ToolBook 10.5 with Update 1
