TOOLBOOK SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Browser requirements listed below are all in reference to Microsoft Windows, unless specifically noted otherwise. Notice there are no Windows-Version-Specific requirements for viewing ToolBook DHTML content. This is because the version of Windows is not relevant. The only thing relevant in this case is what version of Web Browser you are using.

ToolBook 11.5

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 and later (IE11 note)
• Firefox 3.0 + (Media note 1, Media note 2)
• Safari 3.0 + for Mac and Windows (Safari note)
• Safari on the iPhone/iPod touch (firmware version 1.1.2)
• Safari on the iPad
• Google Android Browser (1.6 or higher)
• Chrome 5.0 or later (Chrome note, Media note)
• Windows Mobile 6.5 (does not include Windows Phone 7 or higher)
• BlackBerry 6.0 or later

ToolBook 11

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and later (IE11 note)
• Firefox 2.0 + (Firefox 10+ note, Media note 1, Media note 2)

ToolBook Author and Runtime Environment:

ToolBook is designed to function on a Windows based computer, and will not work on a Mac or Unix platform. The installation and use of the ToolBook product requires Administrative Rights access.

ToolBook 11.5

• Intel Pentium processor (or compatible) 1 GHz
• Supported Operating Systems (64-Bit note)
  • Windows XP SP2 or higher
  • Windows Vista (Vista note)
  • Windows 7 (Windows 7 note)
  • Windows 8 (Windows 8 Note, Windows 10 note)
• RAM: 1 GB or more recommended
• 600 MB of free hard disk space
• Graphics card that is capable of displaying 800 x 600 pixels resolution with 24-bit color or greater (1024 x 768 recommended).

ToolBook 11

• Intel Pentium processor (or compatible) 1 GHz
• Supported Operating Systems (64-Bit note)
  • Windows XP SP2 or higher
  • Windows Vista (Vista note)
  • Windows 7 (Windows 7 note)
• RAM: 1 GB or more recommended
• 600 MB of free hard disk space
• Graphics card that is capable of displaying 800 x 600 pixels resolution with 24-bit color or greater (1024 x 768 recommended).

ToolBook 10.5 and Neuron 10.5

• Intel Pentium processor (or compatible) 500 MHz
• Supported Operating Systems (64-Bit note)
  • Windows XP SP2 or higher
  • Windows Vista (Vista note)
  • Windows 7 (Windows 7 note)
• RAM: 256 MB or more recommended
• 150 MB or more free hard disk space (up to 310 MB for all optional components).
• CD-ROM or DVD drive.
• Graphics card that is capable of displaying 800 x 600 pixels resolution with 16-bit color or greater (1024 x 768 recommended).
• For Neuron, supported Windows based web browsers include:
  • Internet Explorer 3.0+
  • Netscape 2.0+
  • Firefox 1.0+
